die op enig punt in het circuit optreedt, mag niet langer zijn dan de tijd die nodig is om de temperatuur van de geleiders op de toegestane limiet te brengen.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"nc-justify-text\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">Voor kortsluitingen met een duur tot 5 s kan de tijd die een kortsluitstroom nodig heeft om de geleidertemperatuur te doen stijgen van de maximaal toelaatbare temperatuur bij normaal bedrijf tot de grenswaarde, als eerste benadering worden geleider, wordt de thermische spanning op de geleider berekend als functie van de maximale kortsluitstroom waargenomen door de kabel en de openingstijd van de vermogenschakelaar: I\u00b2 x t (I in A en t in s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"nc-justify-text\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">Deze waarde moet kleiner zijn dan de thermische weerstand van de kabel: k\u00b2xS\u00b2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"nc-justify-text\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">Waar:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-icon-list Integreer een fabrikantreferentie op de stroomopwaartse stroomonderbreker: <\/h5><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"nc-justify-text\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">Om te voorkomen dat de kabeldoorsnede te groot wordt, nemen fabrikanten in de meeste beveiligingen een begrenzingseffect op.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"nc-justify-text\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">De beperking wordt rechtstreeks afgelezen van een curve van de fabrikant voor de stroomopwaartse beveiliging (stroomonderbreker of zekering): <strong>de energiebeperkingscurve<\/strong>.
